Simply fill in a form or call us and we will arrange for a representative to visit you to provide a quote at a time that's convenient for you. Your price is valid for 3 months so you have plenty of time to decide.

A member of our team will arrange a convenient time and date for your quote appointment over the phone and answer any questions that you may have. We work around you so let us know your preferred appointment time and we will make every effort to accommodate it; often a representative is able to visit your home the very same day that you request a quote.

One of our local representatives will need come out to the property so that they can take initial pricing measurements and assess any factors that may affect the cost of the installation. They will discuss your requirements with you and give you a little more information about our products so that you can work out which windows and doors are best suited for your home. They can also show you some product samples and advise you on design and colour options. Our representatives are fully trained and qualified and will be able to advise you and answer any additional questions that you may have.

2. Survey

One of our surveyors will visit your property and take precise measurements. They will explain the process, go through final designs and make sure that you are 100% satisfied.

If you are happy to go ahead we will call you and arrange for one of our expert surveyors to visit your property and carry out a detailed survey. This will give you another chance to ask any specific questions and even make some alterations to your order if you wish. The surveyor will take photographs, record final measurements and make sure no additional requirements, such as scaffolding, are needed. Such precise measurements mean that we are able to manufacture your windows and doors specifically to your home so that they fit perfectly and look exactly as you wish.

Once all the information has been recorded the surveyor will go through final checks with you, confirm your order and make sure you are happy with everything. Once we have the final measurements and know that you are fully satisfied we'll begin manufacturing your new windows and doors. You will be provided with a contract to sign which will detail the provisional date for the fitting.

3. Manufacturing

We will carefully manufacture your new windows and door in our state of the art Yorkshire factory and be in touch as soon as they are ready.

Every single product is bespoke and made to order specifically for your home. We manufacture your products to your exact specification in our state of the art Yorkshire based factory. Our experienced technicians are sure to take care and use only the highest quality components, following strict industry regulations. All of our products are quality tested and undergo rigorous tests to check for glass strength and weather performance.

4. Installation

Once your products we are all set to go ahead with the pre arranged installation date. Our fitting teams will arrive at the time agreed and get to work right away.

The big day has finally arrived. We will have agreed the installation date when the contract was signed after the survey. Our installation teams use dust sheets to protect your carpets and furniture and they will make every effort to ensure your home is kept clean and tidy. The fitters will carefully remove your old windows and doors and we will take them away to be recycled. There is no standard time for a new window and door installation as this depends on the extent of the work and how complex the job is. We find that a typical installation is usually finished in one day but this can vary, our advisers will inform you of the expected time frame before the fitting date.

Once your new windows and doors are expertly installed the fitters will run through each product and show you exactly how it works and make sure you are happy. You should also receive a call from a member of our customer care team to check that you are satisfied with the work and if there is anything else we can help you with.

5. Payment

We will make sure that you are fully satisfied and have signed to say that you are happy with the work before we take any payment.

At PRAKOM our priority is making sure our customers are satisfied with their home improvement so we will not take payment until the installation has been completed. After the fitters have installed your new windows and doors they will ask you to sign a satisfaction note to let us know that you are happy for us to take the agreed balance. If you have used one of our finance package options the finance company will begin to take the agreed monthly payments four weeks after the completion note has been signed.

6. Ten years peace of mind

Your PRAKOM windows and doors are guaranteed for 10 years. So if there are any issues down the line, due to manufacturing faults or general everyday use, we will repair or replace the them completely free of charge. Meaning that you can sit back and enjoy your new home improvement.

You can rest assured that you'll be able to enjoy your new home improvements for many years to comes as every product comes with a 10 year guarantee as standard. If there are any issues with your windows and doors we will come out and repair or replace them for a whole decade after the installation. Every single one of our windows and doors are specifically manufactured for your home exactly; our team are specially trained to measure and asses your home so that your windows and doors are precision built especially for you. We really would not want to show you a price on our website and it be completely different to the price that our surveyor quotes when he comes to assess the property.

Why have I seen other companies showing prices on their website?

Some companies may be able to show exact prices if they do not precisely build their windows and doors like we do. Is the price agreed with the sales agent and contract the final price that will be paid?

However on very rare occasions the visit from our Technical Surveyor may highlight an issue that wasn't apparent to our sales representative, in which case this will be discussed with you in full, giving you the option to proceed.
